Delete your account

You can delete your The Local by Masrawyaccount and its associated data at any time. Here's how.

Delete from within the app

  1. Open the The Local app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Or request by email

If you can't access the app, email us from the address on your account and we'll process your deletion request: info-thelocal@linkifysolutions.com.

What happens to your data

  • Your account is first soft-deleted and stays recoverable for 30 days — sign back in within that window to restore it.
  • After 30 days the account and its associated data are permanently deleted. This includes your profile (name, email, phone, birthday), your member card, and your loyalty points and activity history.
  • Records we're required to keep for legal, tax, or fraud- prevention reasons may be retained for the period the law requires, then deleted.
